The talk will be about the ‘Peer Mediation’ scheme that was set up in September 2023 by Kezia Herzog, one of the teachers at Exning Primary School. Participants will learn what Peer Mediation is and how it has changed our school ethos. Peer Mediation is a way of training children to learn to resolve conflict, without involvement of adults. Kezia recently completed her Master of Education at the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge and completed ‘action research’ on the topic of the Peer Mediation scheme. The findings of the research will be discussed within the workshop.
