This CPD workshop will provide practical strategies for effectively supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the mainstream school environment. Participants will explore and gain insights into the changing national landscape of SEND in schools and learn practical strategies for creating an inclusive environment that benefits all students. he session will highlight easy-to-implement “little wins” in classroom management, as well as simple assessments and adaptations to support learners with sensory processing needs. Attendees will also discover how technology can promote "digital dignity" and improve access to the curriculum, alongside how to implement a school-wide "Total Communication Approach" to support students with communication and interaction challenges.
